Knowledge Cotton Apparel produces basics in the stylish quality we expect from a Danish label. The simple style with clear patterns and muted colors characterize the company's understatement. Since it was founded in 1969, the family business has placed great importance on sustainability and since the 1980s the clothes have been made exclusively from organic cotton. Knowledge Cotton Apparel has recently started using recycled PET as filling in its jackets. 25 PET bottles make 1 jacket.

The focus on sustainability was a major concern for company founder Jorgen Morup right from the start. Not only should the design, comfort and durability of the products be right, but their production and all those involved should also be transparent. He wanted to know exactly where the raw materials came from and how they were grown and processed. He wanted the seamstresses and logisticians to receive fair wages. The Danish company is convinced that knowledge is power and should be shared (knowledge = knowledge). And those who share knowledge also bear responsibility. This gave rise to the guiding principle to which the company has remained true to this day: Gain knowledge. Take action. Earn respect.
