The stonewash finish not only gives the comforter covers and pillowcases from Lavie that extra touch of softness, but also makes the collections from the young Swiss brand a pioneer in terms of style. The brand from the traditional Balsiger company in Langenthal, Bern, now offers even more textiles for the home, such as rugs, cloth napkins, towels and bedspreads. The designs are created in Switzerland in collaboration with Zambon & Stahl.

From Portugal with Love

Lavie products are made from certified organic Indian cotton, Portuguese linen or hemp. The stonewash finish makes all three fabrics pleasantly soft and you don't have to iron them. The linen and hemp fabrics, which are a little more tactile, can be a little creased. With production in Portugal, they focus on short distances, as it is important to them to maintain a long and trusting relationship with their production partners. Lavie has been GOTS-certified as a brand since summer 2019, which means that Lavie meets the highest social and ecological standards throughout the entire production process.
