Made in Europe

This label refers to the manufacture of the finished product, the raw materials for which can also come from outside Europe. There are regions in which the extraction and processing of certain raw materials has a long tradition: Silk and cashmere in India, cotton in Egypt, alpaca wool in Peru, etc. In such cases, it can be more sustainable to support local producers than to aim for production in Europe.
