From the careful selection of our products to our daily actions - we do everything we can to make our ecological and social footprint as positive as possible.
Our responsibility in the supply chain
We achieve our greatest impact through our choice of products and suppliers. We work exclusively with brands and producers that meet strict sustainability criteria and pursue fair, environmentally friendly production methods. Transparency in the information we provide is extremely important to us. You can read more about our criteria in our standards for brands here.
Sustainable packaging & shipping
- Reusable shipping solutions: Wherever possible, we use kickbags or shipping bags made of kraft paper.
- 100% recycled filling material, if necessary: No plastic, no unnecessary waste.
- Shipping with Swiss Post: Sustainable and reliable.
Environmentally friendly locations
Our office and flagship store in Zurich are located in the customs house of the Kalkbreite cooperative - a Minergie-P-ECO certified building.
- Heated and cooled with groundwater
- Solar power from the in-house photovoltaic system
- Car-free development with plenty of bicycle parking spaces and excellent public transport connections
Our flagship store in Zurich, as well as our store in Bern city center, rely on sustainable furnishings: these are made from FSC-certified wood from the Alpine region.
